South Australian Molly Goodman is off to her first Olympic Games as a part of the women’s eight.
Molly Goodman made her international debut in 2011 at the Junior World Championships in the quad sculls and in 2013 she was fourth in the final of the women’s eight at the U23 World Championships. Goodman made her first senior A team in 2014 competing at the Lucerne World Cup and the World Championships in the women’s eight.
Having competed in the women’s pair at the 2015 World Championships she went on to compete in the eight as they finished third at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta as they just missed a Rio 2016 spot. The boat was a late call up to the Games after Russia was removed from the competition.
